Hey, does anybody know is there any company or independent luthier who does relic finishes on vintage instruments? I have a stripped off 63 Precision waiting for refinishing.

Yeah, the original color of the bass was sunburst, so it stays sunburst.
PS! I have also 69 Jazz. Someone has stripped the finish off and refinished it quite badly in black. I could let someone to refinish also this bass, for example in Shell Pink? ;) Haribol! |

Man, don't. The sonic blue / 60's blue alright, but shell pink? That goes too far :)

Good choice and same time the most difficult color to make it look like original.
Shell pink...? how about Olympic white relic, auts ! ; ) |

Well, I just have a nice pink hat for the stage image. So they would look great together on the stage. Should I buy the shell pink car as well? :) Haribol! |

The shell pink and surf green are the best colors ever. I had a Japanese surf green Jazz and a Strat, but foolishly sold them both. The sound was average but the looks... man. bassolla hanuriin |
