Magnumin Facebook-sivulla kerrottiin, että Tony Clarkinilla on pahoja ongelmia pään ja niskan alueella selkärangasta johtuvien vaivojen takia. Magnumin ensi vuoden keikat on jouduttu perumaan. "I have developed a rare spinal condition. Its not life-limiting, but it can be degenerative in some people, and sadly its not curable. There are treatments that may help but we dont know how good theyll be. With the nature of touring and the weight of electric guitars this means theres no way I would be able to play the scheduled shows in the spring. We've taken the decision to cancel the tour, rather than mess anyone around trying to postpone in the hope things might get better in the short term. Bob didnt feel it would be right doing it with a dep at this time. This is not gonna be the end of Magnum, but the future might have to be a bit different, so please bear with us while we try and figure out what I can and cant do moving forward." MAGNUM Announces Final Live Album With Founding Guitarist TONY CLARKIN British rock icons MAGNUM have announced the release of the band's final live album with founder Tony Clarkin. Recorded December 10, 2022, "Live At KK's Steel Mill" was the memorable night when they played the final show of their European tour at KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton and, as they had done on all previous nights, wowed their fans from the first to the last note. The concert was recorded by state-of-the-art audio equipment, which later turned out to be a real blessing because it was as we now know the last official live recording starring Tony Clarkin. The guitarist and main songwriter died unexpectedly on January 7, 2024, just a few days before the release of MAGNUM's latest studio album, "Here Comes The Rain".
