Hauska idea laululle, ehkä tarinankerrontaan voisi syventyä. Siis että kuulijalle tulisi selvemmäksi kuka kertoo ja kenestä. Tai näin itsestä tuntui kun tätä mielessäni tapailin. Alla kommenttini ja muutama hupaisa ehdotus.

A feeling emerged inside of me
1. (jätä adverbi pois, koska pleasure cruise
sisältää jo ajatuksen sen miellyttävyydestä, ei sanalla lovely ole
lisäarvoa)
2. Onko kyse auton matkustajasta?
silloin ehkä "You sat right there beside me"
jos ajoi moottoriajoneuvolla (omalla) rinnalla,
"you rode right there beside me"
jos sai kyydin kertojalta
"you took a ride right beside me" (vähän kankea tuo ride right pari sitten)
3. ing- muoto viitaa kestopreesensiin, parhaillaan meneillä olevaan
toimintaan. Kumpi sai bakcseat bluesin, kertoja vai matkustaja?
Itse muutin menneeseen aikaan ja kertoja kertoi matkustajasta.
Aloitat kuitenkin "had such a lovely pleasure cruise", jolloin aikamuoto
oli menneessä.
