Reon Driftbox is a range of mad little analogue synths, hand-made in Osaka. This is the top model, the Driftbox SE.
- Two DCOs with seven waveforms which can each modulate the other (!) or the filter etc.
- A lovely 12dB/oct analogue Steiner-Parker filter
- AD/ASR envelope
- A nicely engineered joystick that can control filter cutoff, oscillator pitch or both at once
- Can be played via MIDI or CV/gate, or using the built-in trigger button
- All the analogue connections are on minijacks so it plays nicely with Eurorack
- The two oscillators can play in unison or four-voice paraphonic
- Great for beautiful, haunting, pure synth tones, absolute screaming cross-modulated mayhem, or anything in between. :)

It's six years old but it's in perfect condition. I used it on a few projects (check this out if you want to hear an example: https://scarredforlife.bandcamp.com/track/handspan-whats-in-the-box - the Driftbox is playing the main melody and also the swirling filtered noise in the middle section of the song). But recently I got an Erica Syntrx and really I only need one crazy radiophonic box of madness, so it's time for the Driftbox to go. It has never been outside my non-smoking studio and it's in perfect condition. I stuck the little rubber feet on the bottom, otherwise it's pretty much brand new. It comes with the original box, instructions and EU power supply.

It's a rare, interesting and fun synth, very hard to find in Europe, and if you want to import one from Japan it will cost you a LOT more than my asking price. Original RRP including import costs was around 700€ if I remember right.
