This slow-paced rock anthem was in the making for a year and a month, and something of its epicness tells the amount of the tracks; 53. The lyrics are here and they are easy to relate to. The theme behind the lyrics could be for example saving a precious thing from a threatening thing - it’s freely interpretable and fully dependent on the listener. It could be a cry out or a war shout, though the original idea was none of the above.
The song constists of 53 tracks of which 28 are vocals - lead, harmonics - and 11 guitar tracks. Everything is harmonized, octave up, more or less. The synths were added at the last feature and they brought a whole new dimension into the song, more space and epicness. It really doesn’t sound like the most ordinary 70’s hard rock song, but more like a modernized hard rock song with a catchy pop chorus and temperate vocals.
