Hehee.. keksin kymmenessä minuutissa blues-biisiin sanat.
Kielioppivirheitä on varmasti paljon. Tämä oli alunperin Shotgun Blues, mutta Guns&Rosesilla on kai sen niminen biisi. Tämä pitäisi "laulaa" sellaisella etelä-jenkki-punaniska- aksentilla..
 
Lonely Blues
 
My girl left me all alone
She went to north
To have some fun
Now I'm alone
With shotgun by my side
And this is about it all
This is lonely blues
 
My girl doesn't like these redneck-fools
She yelled: "You're big redneck too!"
She took her bag
And drove away with my tractor
Now I've started drinking cos'
Booze tastes so good
And nowadays, it's so cheap, too.
 
They say: "She never comes back"
After that, I nailed their asses
I quess she comes back
I know she does
But if she doesn't
I'll jump to my farmer
And drive all the way to Chicago
 
If I don't find her
I'll still have my shotgun
I'll drive to the alley and
Stuck barrel in my mouth
But I can't find trigger
Damn, my hands are too small
And I have to go on
So I drive back to south, without my girl, and this is lonely blues..

Käsittääkseni bluesin tekstillä ei sinällään ole väliä vaan esitystavalla. Jonkinlaisen uskottavuuden saavuttamiseksi olisi tekstin todenperäisyys/edes uskottavuus ja omakohtaisuus olennaista. Eli näinkin pintaliitoinen seikka kuin "nuts and bolts of everyday life". Onhan se tietysti perseestä kun tekstin arvoa määrää tekstistä riippumaton seikka, eli tässä tapauksessa se, ajoiko tyttösi pois traktorilla vai ei.
 
Blueslyriikka, taiteenlaji sinänsä.
