Ensimmäisellä kerralla ei onnistunut vielä sytyttämään, mutta voi luoja miten kovasti tämä iskikään, kun otin äsken uudemman kerran kuunteluun! Brutaalia, raskasta ja vitun tiukasti soitettua, me likes.

This demo consists out of 3 songs pressed on a white record. The band hails from Finland and in the line up bassplayer Jussi , who is wellknown for his work in the finnish death metal scene , especially thanks to this excellent work for Gloomy Grim.
 
They're delivering some great work here. 3 brutal songs that's got some catchy melodies. Where so many deathmetal bands loose a sense of reality when it comes to songstructures and writing , Fleshred knows how to write a well arranged song and keep their work memorable. People who dig bands like Pestilence and Bloodbath will surely like this band. Especially since the songs consist out of some great hooks and brutal , yet catchy guitarmelodies.
 
This surely is a great deathmetal demo. Not too awfully original but the songs sure sound right. The production is killer , the band has techinque and talent and the songs are strong. Surely a band to keep an eye on in the near future. Excellent stuff!

If a bands success was based solely on how well they execute the mission statement on their Myspace page, Fleshred would be an instant sensation. Admittedly not out to do anything new, the goal of these Finns is to play old school death metal somewhere between the Floridian and Stockholm styles. And since they are pretty goddamned good at it, they deserve some buzz for this fine little demo, Halls of Tormented Flesh.
 
From the moment Clad in Terror explodes out of the gate, its quite evident that Fleshred mean fuckin business. Halls is a constant flurry of blasts, speedy guitars, excellent death metal vocals (part guttural, part screamed), some well-executed solo sections, and even the occasional brutal groove. All three of the songs contained here are of an equally high quality, showing excellent promise for a full length. Add in a venomous production (please dont change it for the full length, really), and it adds up to one of the better mini-debuts Ive heard in a long while.
 
Looking for something fresh and groundbreaking? Too bad bitches. Not Fleshreds game, but those who live by the style will welcome the band with open arms. At only about 12 minutes, Halls is over before you know who swung the ball peen hammer, but it demands repeated listens. Fleshred is revivalist without relying on the gimmick. Bring on the full length, Ill gladly take 40 minutes of this.

Ihan vitun hyväähän tää oli. Omaan korvaan soundit oli kyllä liian muoviset, mutta hyvää oli. Vielä kun sais kunnon räkää, niin ois kyllä avot....

Rajua menoa on.
Nyt kolahti heti ekalla kuuntelukerralla toisin kun edeltäjänsä. Tää on monoa perseelle alusta loppuun. Sopparia odotellessa...

Annoin miksaajalle Asphyxin uuden levyn käteen ja sanoin, että tee tosta soundi. Aika hyvin onnistu....diggailen Dan Swanön modernista soundista (Hail Of Bullets, Asphyx, Bloodbath jne.). Ei siinä...Sunlight ja muu viemäri toimii myös.
