bedlam: Minusta kuulostaa ihan helkutin hyvältä. Gene on The Mies. Toki Herreran konemainen riffien mukaan jauhava tyyli oli suuri osa FF:n soundia, mutta ehkäpä juuri siksi tämä Hoglanin mukaantulo kuulostaakin oikein mielenkiintoiselta. Luulisin, että Hoglan koettaa tuoda rumpalointiin hieman enemmän sävyjä ja juttuja.
 
Tarkoitin sillä aiemmin sitä, että Raymond (Fear Factoryn oikeudenomistaja) olisi pois bändistä. Mutta niin siinä vain kävi, saa nähdä mitä tulee jälkipuintina. Olisikohan jotain Gorgorothin tasoista settiä tiedossa.
 
Rhys Fulberinkin aikoivat hommata takaisin kehiin, joten varmasti on mielenkiintoista tavaraa tulossa.

Siis onko Herrera nyt pois kokoonpanosta ihan vain muiden projektiensa vuoksi vai onko hän lähtenyt kävelemään bändistä erimielisyyksien tms. takia? Jos kysessä on ensin mainittu, niin onhan Raymond voinut ihan antaa käyttöoikeuden ilman mukanaoloaansakin.

Se jää mysteeriksi. Siksi viittasin tuohon Gorgorothiin. Jotka eivät tarinaa tunne, niin pitkän aikaa oli olemassa kaksi samannimistä bändiä, molemmat Gorgoroth. Kummassakin soitti edeltävän Gorgorothin tyyppejä, jotka aiemmin soittivat samassa Gorgoroth-bändissä. Riitautumisen jälkeen he sitten jakautuivat kahtia ja molemmat bändit soittivat nimellä Gorgoroth, kunnes vast'ikään oikeudessa määrättiin oikeus nimeen vain toiselle bändille.
 
Nyt olisi Fear Factoryssä mahdollisuus samaan. Toisessa Fear Factoryssä soittaisivat edelleen Raymond ja Christian, toisessa sitten taas Burton ja Dino.

They never communicated with us about it", said Herrera. Herrera went on to say that the original four members (Bell, Cazares, Wolbers, and himself) are contractually regarded as Fear Factory Incorporated, and said "it's almost like them two against us two, so it's kind of a stalemate."
 
Herrera also stated that he and Wolbers had written eight songs for the next Fear Factory record, but that a "personal disagreement" had come up between them and Bell, which left Bell unwanting to continue work with the band.
 
The Fear Factory featuring Bell and Cazares was set to make its live debut on June 21st in the Metalway Festival in Zaragoza, Spain. However, the show was canceled "at the last minute", apparently due to the legal complications referenced by Herrera that now surround the use of the name "Fear Factory". The rest of that lineup's planned performances to date, which included a German tour in August 2009, have also been canceled.

The CD, which was co-produced by the band with Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, PARADISE LOST), was recently mixed by Greg Reely (PARADISE LOST, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, SKINNY PUPPY). "I didn't want any of the soundscapes to sound natural," says Bell. "I wanted them to be really mechanical because I wanted that aspect of FEAR FACTORY to really shine again. I feel it kind of got dulled over and that's the aspect that I really enjoyed a lot about FEAR FACTORY. I was a huge fan of industrial music and still am. And you don't hear much of that anymore these days."

Täytyy tästä maistiaisbiisistä sanoa vielä sen verran, ettei kyllä räjäyttänyt pankkia. Vähän mielenkiinnotonta ja Cazaresin kitarointikin oli aika persoonatonta sahaussuorittamista.

Ihan pätevää melskettä. Kyllähän tää vähän tylsäksi on vain käyny, yhden soinnun riffillä voi tehdä vain niin paljon ja vielä kun päälle vielä lätkäistään aina se sama kertsi, joka ei kuulostanut hyvälle silloin ekallakaan kerralla. En vieläkään ymmärrä tuota tarvetta saada joka biisiin melodinen kertosäe, vaikkei itse melodiaa saada sävellettyäkään.
 
Huvitti kyllä noi Blabbermouthin kommentit, "without Herrera's bass drum patterns, it doesn't sound right to me". Joojoo, eihän tuosta edes huomaisi Herreran poistuneen, jos sitä ei tietäisi.
 
Mutta joka tapauksessa kuulostaa paremmalle kuin se edellinen lätty, jota miksauksen takiakaan ei pystynyt kauaa kuuntelemaan.

Incarnation: Mielenkiinnolla ja toiveikkaana odotan uutta Fear Factorya.
 
Todellakin. Hoglan tuo vain hyvää vaihtelua, vaikkei Herrerassa olekkaan mitään vikaa.
