The shark's fin pick can be used in two ways - normally employing the blunt end or the small perturbations can be raked across the strings producing a much fuller chord or used to employ a "pick scrape" down the strings producing a very harsh, scratching noise.

Henk.koht. olen käyttänyt noita syksystä 1986, enkä edes tiennyt, että sillä olisi joku "oikeaoppinen" käyttötarkoitus. Sillä puolella kun soittaa, 3 - 4 niistä kärjistä, osuu samaan aikaan kieliin.
Ehkä tosta on jotain "soundillista hyötyä", ehkä ei. Hankkimalla noita ja kokeilemalla, se selviää. |

Hurriganesin "Roadrunnerin" raavintaääniin. Alppu ei tarvinnut, mutta kaikki me jotka yritimme kopioida mestaria. Ohuimmalla Sharkfinillä, joka muuten on tosi lepru, lähti myös Cat Stevens -tyylinen akustisen komppisoundi, jossa on enemmän plektran ritinää kuin kielien sointia. |
