Olen ajatellut Alesis MultiMix mikseriä joko USB:llä tai firewire liittimellä (tai vastaavaa)
Olenko ymmärtänyt oikein että nämä toimivat äänikorttina?
Onnistuuko siten se, että ajan tietokoneelta mp3 musiikin usbin tai firewiren kautta mikseriin ja siitä ulos? Eli käyttäiäsin mikseriä koneen äänikorttina. Koneessa on niin surkee oma äänikortti ja ajattelin että ratkaisisin tällä hankinnalla sen ongelman, ja samalla saisin mikserin.
Vai onnistuuko ainoastaan mikseristä koneelle päin? Lets go through the wall!!!! |
Multimixin reference manuaalin sivulta 25 selviää:
The Firewire port sends every individual mixer channel as well as
the MultiMixs MAIN OUT/2-TRACK OUT left and right signals
to the computer. This means that, for the MultiMix 12 FireWire,
12 individual channels are sent to the computer along with the
MAIN stereo pair (14 channels in total.) For the MultiMix 16
FireWire, 16 individual channels are sent to the computer along
with the MAIN stereo pair (18 channels in total.)

The Firewire port receives a stereo audio stream from the
computer and assigns it to the 2-TRACK IN left and right
channels of your MultiMix mixer. Note that, if a device is
connected to the MultiMixs 2-TRACK IN inputs, the signal from
this device is merged with the signal from the computer.
