Im my own world but Im nothing
I lie on the ground, staring at my loyal friend.
Daily I meet it but it never gets warmer
With its cold light he fills me with sadness
Our relationship is so very fragile
Why do I even try?
Im just one of its infinite friends
No matter what I do in my life,
Some day Im not able to meet my friend
Only when the last hourglass is filling,
Running to meet with the others
I realize my mistakes in life
I cry to my friend, but it doesnt care.
Finally my friend disappears beyond the horizon
I sigh and walk away with bitter mind
Soon enough we will meet again.
Or will I come again? I do not know. |
