En jaksanut katsoa koko ketjua läpi tarkistaakseni, onko tätä jo mainittu, mutta Herra Ylpöllä on tapana tehdä referenssejä kaikennäköisiin artisteihin, näyttelijöihin ja kirjailijoihin Maj Karman kappaleissa. Kappaleessa Pasi sanoo mainitaan sekä Kauko Röyhkä, Lou Reed että Lady Day eli Billie Holiday. Viimeinen mainitaan tietenkin myös kappaleessa Lady Day on kuollut. Ketäs vielä? Kappaleessa Hullu huutaja mainitaan Anna Kuoppamäki. Ja sitten on vielä The Best of Mozart, sekä joku kappale, jossa mainitaan Liskokuningas, eli nimellisesti ainakin Jim Morrison. Maj Karman biisien tekstit ammentavat paljon intertekstuaalisuudesta. Herra Y. puhuukin siitä usein haastatteluissa. |
