Razamanaz!!! Tietokone jäi soittamaan Razamanaz-levyä autotoistolla kun meikäläinen sammahti viime yönä :-D Näin tuntien "kuuntelun" jälkeen ei voi kun jälleen kerran todeta, että Nazareth on jokseenkin täydellinen rockbändi. Expect no mercy!

Yks onnekas ruotsalainen heebo oli päässyt bändin bussiin alkaneella kiertueella ja saanut kuulla uuden levyn, joka tosiaan on myynnissä kuukauden päästä. Lainaan tähän hänen arviotaan levystä eräältä foorumilta.

Going Loco starts off this cd being a hybrid of funky Lenny Kravitz vibes and feelings of James Brown in the vocal delivery from Dan, very much up to date, fresh, funky like hell. We were told the song is about "being on anti-depressive". A truly great break in this song also.
 
Day At The Beach is a softer calmer song which feels very relaxed in it's delivery and mood.
 
Liar is fantastic. This one has some Rammstein feelings in it and in some way a totally different song from what you may have heard from the band ever. Very uplifting. And it's about George Bush.
 
See Me has a nice melody, very charming, a great love song and feels like a single to release from this album. It may go well for the band on rock radio with this one.
 
I've Got Enough is again a change, this time AOR sounding with a great chorus.
 
Warning is a funky song with a nice groove.
 
Mean Streets ....again funky. A song you can dance to! Very fresh, fantastic song.
 
Road Trip is a truly great rock n roller with a fantastic vocal delivery from Dan Mc Cafferty. This will be a live favourite.
 
Gloria is maybe one of the best songs Nazareth ever has recorded. If this is released as a single Nazareth will be on the charts again. This song .....well....you will love the chorus!!!! Gloria-a-a-a-a! Congratulations to the band because this is a winner.
 
Keep On Travellin´will be a live favourite. See my comments on Road Trip for the same remarks.
 
Logging On Again is done be Jimmy. A glad happy little tune with a catchy chorus.
 
The Gathering is distinct, heavy as hell, maybe one the heaviest songs they have ever done. It starts and ends with a guitar melody that goes round and around like a music box. The song reminds me of Heaven And Hell era Black Sabbath with a truly fantastic vocal delivery from Dan McCafferty. This is one song many people will love.
 
Dying Breed ends this cd, the song is about tragic things and getting old.

Aloittaahan voi vaikka elokuun keikalta.

Nyt on sikäli ihmeellinen tilanne että on se originaali ja aino oikea nazareth jossa soittaa dan mc cafferty,pete agnew, jne.
 
Mutta : nyt on tullut toinenkin Nazareth...
Nimittäin Manny Charlton (joka lähti 91 originaalista bändistä) + 3 muuta jenkkityyppiä kulkee nimellä Nazareth. Outoa, turhaa ja hämmentävää. Mannyn nazareth viskoo varmaan matskua alusta vuoteen 91 tai jotain.
 
"Danin" nazarethin sivuilla mainitaankin asiasta kovin närkästyneeseen sävyyn...

^ Käydäänköhän tuostakin vielä oikeutta (vrt. CCR, Saxon) kun kerran ex-jäsen(et) jatkaakin samalla nimellä kuin edellinen työnantajansa?
