On muuten melkoista tuubaa tuo uusi BHG-levy, Hefty Fine. Oikeastaan ainoa hyvä biisi on tuo Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo, joka on ilmeisesti eka sinkkubiisikin? Sellailen luova hulluus (=viihdyttävä hölmöily), joka leimasi etenkin Hooray for Boobies-levyä, on tältä tyystin kadonnut.

Mutta voi jumalauta miten nerokas se kansi onkaan.

Kuulin jonkun uuden biisin mtv:ltä jokin aika sitten. Uskomatonta jumalanhylkäämää paskaahan se tietenkin oli, mutta mitä muutakaan voisi odottaa. Enemmän hämmästyttää miksi tuommoisten lähemmäs nelikymppisten heebojen annetaan mennä studioon tekemään laskelmoitua teinirokkia. Aina se joltain on pois.

Jollain kierolla tapaa hieno bändi ja hyviä levyjä. Äkkiseltäänhän BHG:ia voisi pitää juurikin "uskomattomana jumalanhylkäämänä paskana" mutta juuri se jackass-osaston huumori ja ennenkaikkea ne hyvät biisit iskee ainakin muhun. Hefty fineä en ole vielä FUCK-biisiä enempää kuullut, mutta jos yhtään samalla vanhalla linjalla jatketaan niin luulisi senkin ihan menevää mushaa olevan. Tosin tuo Juugelin kommentti herätti kyllä jo vähän epäilyksiä.

Bändin jätkät on loistavia moottoriturpia livenäkin. BHG soitti Tavalla (?) syksyllä vuonna '99. Kaveri, joka on eräänlainen verbaalilahjakkuus, oli alkanut jutustaa solistin kanssa keikan jälkeen. Jätkät kertasi muunmuassa Vietnamin sodan kokemuksensa. Oli kuulema ollut todella hyvää ja hauskaa verbaalista tulitusta tuo keskustelu. En toisaalta epäile.

Ihan hauskaa tavaraa tuo uusikin levy. Ville Valo on myös mukana, laulaa Something Diabolical -biisissä.
