Ja suomalaisesta ramopunkista löytyy malliesimerkkejä vaikka kuinka =D

Sliippareiden versio biisistä Sunshine of your love, on melko pelottava.

Pikemminkin ihan mikä tahansa King Diamondin albumi kokonaisuudessaan sopisi kauhuelokuvan aiheeksi, joskin toteutus saattaisi olla melko perinteinen, kun (mielipide) Kingin tarinat eivät ole aihepiireiltään niitä kaikkein omaperäisimpiä. Yksittäisinä otoksina nuo kappaleet eivät oikein tahdo toimia.

Mukava aihe, pitkästä aikaa. Ensimmäisenä tuli mieleeen Leon Paynen kappale Psycho, jonka Froikkarit ovat mallikaasti versioineet Kipee-nimimisenä kappaleena

Froikkarit ovat mallikaasti versioineet Kipee-nimimisenä kappaleena
 
Mainio suomennus, riimi "jakoa vain / jakoavain" on hauska (painotuksethan tuossa eivät mene samalla tavalla joten oppikirjaihmiset pitäisivät moista "vääränä" - ja hyvä niin >:)

Edit: Roky Erickson meinasi unohtua.

Bloodrockin kappale D.O.A vuodelta 1971. Joku yli kahdeksanminuuttinen vellovan hidas biisi, tuo mukavan ahdistavan tunnelman. Ainakin kun kuuntelee kuulokkeilla pimeässä huoneessa. Suosittelen kokeilemaan..

Edit: PS. Eikä unohdeta Screamin' Jay Hawkinsia. Pienenä luulin että CCR:n versio "I put a spell on you'sta" olis vakuuttava mutta kun kuulin Screamin' Jayn laulavan alkuperäisversion, siinä tihkui mustien kanojen veri ja alligaattoriviini...
 
Screamin' Jay Hawkins osaa olla pelottava laulaessaan ihan mistä tahansa. Ummetuksesta ilman sanoja tai Aasian tytöistä itsekeksityllä tsing-tsong-kiinankielellä (Constipation Blues, Hong Kong)

Black Sabbathin nimikkobiisi, sehän toimii tässä kai toisinkin päin. :D
 
King Diamondin konseptilätyt onkin jo mainittu, mainioita ovat.

Alice Cooperista tuossa olikin jo puhetta. Eyes Of Alice Cooper-albumilta löytyy kappale nimeltä This House Is Haunted.

... ja sitten tietysti on vielä ruotsalainen "goottikantria" soittava The Coffinshakers. En valitettavasti päässyt paikalle, kun yhtye vieraili Qstockissa jokunen vuosi sitten, mutta bändin levyä "We Are the Undead" on tullut kyllä pyöriteltyä stereoissa kiitettävästi.
 
Musiikillisesti yhtye on jonkinlainen sekoitus Johnny Cashia ja Hammer-yhtiön kauhuelokuvia. Jälkimmäiselle sylttytehtaalle viittaakin osa The Coffinshakersin kappaleista, esimerkkeinä vaikkapa "Twins of Evil" tai "Dracula Has Risen from the Grave".

Minäkin ajattelin ensimmäisenä King Diamondia. Herran tuotantohan on pelkkiä kauhutarinoita, ja jokainen levy on oma tarinansa. Vieläpä varsin hyvä sellainen. Jos kauhumusiikki kiinnostaa, niin suosittelen vahvasti :)
