Hyvin tuntuu homma toimivan ! Wishbone Ash forumilta (concert stories) Shank Hall Milwaukee « on: April 29th, 2006, 8:52am » | Reply with quote | Modify -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Great show. Almost 200 very enthusiastic fans{the place won,t hold many more than that}.The band was very tight in their playing and very loose and relaxed on stage.Bob and Muddy both stepping to the front on numerous occasions. Muddy sporting his new straw safari hat and looking at times like he might be the leader or original member of the band.Andy played his usual outstanding leads but also pairing up with Bob to the side forming a rhythmn section while Muddy took solos.Muddy is a great, versatile player with a very heavy sound. He is I think the perfect fit for this band and his slide and lap steel playing remind me of the sound from when Ted was in the band. Sort of a Wishbone 4 sort of feel. The band seemed in good spirits. Andy offering much talk to the audience between songs. I think the stress of the upcoming drive maybe in the back of Andys mind as he did seem a bit cranky with some comments. Chastised one fan for his having a recorder light beamed on him like "a train bearing down on him"and said "ihope the f*ckin batteries die soon." Also the band took a half hour break between sets and when Andy came back said the manager told him the crowd was getting agitated. Yes agitated was the word he said and his response to the manager was f*ck em. Iv,e been playing 36 years and we,ll come out when we,re ready.Someone yelled something out and Andy responded with a loud but good natured f*ck you. He also spoke of the old days when Aerosmith and Springsteen opened for Wishbone and "what the f*ck happened? All in fun. We,re amongst friends right he said." Didn,t detract from the music one iota.Rowdy fans. One fellow escorted out for jumping on stage and a few others drawing management attention for dancing on the table tops and another drunk yelling through the cutain during break for them to get back out here.As others have said this is the best I,ve heard the band in years. Will post the set list next.

Tottakai! Muddy on hieno muusikko! On hiukka enemmän blues. Bändi on WISHBONE featuring MARTIN TURNER.... http://www.wishboneash.co.uk/mtinfo/1.aspx Mars Needs Guitars!
