In The Name Of Tragedy iski kyllä sellaisella voimalla, ettei mitään rajaa. Tänään onkin sitten vasen korva lukossa. Korvatulpat olis ollut kova sana, mutta tulipahan ainakin koettua keikka niinkuin pitääkin eli täysillä.

Harmittavan totta.

Aivan 100% varmasti oon menossa seuraavan kerran kattoon.

En jaksa ruveta uudestaan suomeksi kirjoittamaan mitään juttua, kun tuli englanniksi jo kirjoitettua jumalattoman pitkä juttu noista kahdesta päivästä. Elikkä pastetaanpas sitten:

-----------------------------------------

We arrived in Helsinki around 12pm, took our stuff to the place where we were staying, and then went to wait around the back of Kaapelitehdas. We arrived there around 1pm, there was one other guy waiting there already. We had a camera with us and I had a couple LP's with me: Inferno, No Sleep At All and No Sleep 'til Hammersmith, so just a couple ones which I thought would look nice with autographs. It was pretty cold, but I didn't really care, there was alot more important things in my mind. Two and half hours went by, I saw a few roadies next to the busses and went to ask if the band was coming over here so that we'd have a chance to meet the guys. He said they'd be here around half past three - four. We stood there for another hour, and the bus that we saw leaving earlier came back. Now there was us three, the guy who had waited there even before us and then there was 3 guys that came there right before when the guys came. One of them seemed like a real asshole, he wasn't even gonna go see the show, he just wanted autographs. Bullshit! Another guy seemed like a real fan, he had pictures of him with the guys which he took with him to get them signed.

I was sure that the guys were in that bus, and it didn't took long when Phil came out. But he walked straight in to the arena, which was a bit of a shame. But then Mikkey came out and God was my knees shaking :D. Mikkey was really nice, it was really easy to approach him, and we got to talk a bit. He signed my Inferno LP, and promised a picture, but then Lemmy came out and of course Mikkey disappeared during that :D. Lemmy looked like Lemmy, if you know what I mean. He was really nice, we didn't have a chance to really talk, but I got all my LP's signed and got a picture with him. It was incrediable. After he had signed all the stuff and the photos had been taken, Lemmy said "I'll have to go and take a piss" and then he walked to the door which was the closest to where we were, which was of course a totally wrong one and the security came and showed him where the door was. It was amazing, that's all I can say.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/jonisa/juhani/juhani_lemmy_helsinki.jpg

We then went to take our stuff to where we were staying, took our tickets, went to have something to eat and then went to the arena. As we got there it was 7pm, the doors were supposed to be opened at 7, but it took some 15-20 minutes before the doors were opened. I then left my jacket, went on to buy a tour shirt. Met some friends and went to have a beer. Later on I went and bought a tour book, which I took to safe keeping. Meldrum was good again, it's not really my favourite kind of music, but they put on a good show, alot better than your usual terrible opening bands. I couldn't stand to watch the second support band, a finnish band called Sweatmaster, so I just found myself a place where I could sit for a while. When Sweatmaster finished their set I went infront of the stage and I was standing around 20th "row" before the show. Like last time, it seemed like an eternity when the road crew was doing their job, but it was still easy to wait as you knew what was ahead.

Finally the lights went out, and Lemmy started to play his bass. The guys walked on stage and Lemmy said the, now familiar, opening speech "We are Motörhead... we play Rock 'N' Roll" and they kicked on to Dr. Rock. It only took a few songs and I was right in front of Lemmy in the 2nd "row". The audience was amazing and the band was really on fire. The band played loud, but the sound was really good. Just the way I want my Rock 'N' Roll. Having seen the show in Stockholm last december, and having watched Stage Fright for a million times, I knew the old setlist completely, but I hadn't seen any setlists from the first few shows of the tour, so I had really high hopes for even just one new addition to the setlist. Instead I got 2. It was just really over the top, when Lemmy said that they're gonna play a song they hadn't played the song since 1983 and that it was from Ace Of Spades album, and it was fucking Fast And Loose! Suice was a real killer too, I was right out of my mind when Lemmy said that they'll do even another song from Inferno. What can I say, amazing! The show was just right over the top, I would say that even alot better than the Stockholm show last december. I don't know what to say, the show was just perfect. The audience was really great and you could see the band liked the audience too. Lemmy said that he'll come back here anytime. He was also really "impressed" when the audience (well atleast in the front, I didn't see how the audience in the back were) started to bow in front of them. Amazing show, fucking amazing.

Day 2, eh? We got to Tampere around 6pm, met a friend there and took our stuff to the hotel where we were staying. We then took a taxi to the icehall and we arrived there probably around 7pm. Took our jackets to the safe keeping, went to get something to eat. Watched Meldrum's set, it was good again, but last night was alot better. But the audience was really lame around then. After Meldrum's set I went to have a beer with a couple of old mates. Didn't hear Sweatmaster at all, thank god. After Sweatmaster I again went in front of the stage to wait, this time I was probably only about 10 rows from the front. The waiting went by a little faster than yesterday.

The band hit the stage again, Lemmy made the same speech (I think) and they started with Dr. Rock. It took a couple songs and I was in the 3rd row, very good place eventhough the people in the audience were pretty annoying, the kind of people that don't seem to understand that when you go to a Motörhead show there will be alot of "action" in the front. The sound was alot clearer than yesterday, but it wasn't loud enough!
:D. Well that's probably only my opinion, 'cos most of the people seem to think it was way too loud. At first it felt weird, 'cos it just didn't seem to be loud enough, but you got used to it. The show was really over the top again, but I would say that Helsinki was alot better. Like it has been said, the audience in Tampere was nothing compared to the audience in Helsinki. They still kicked everyone's ass, what can you say, fucking great show again. Didn't mind to hear Fast And Loose and Suicide again :D. I also got Lemmy's plectrum which he threw to the crowd in the end of the show. What can I say, over the top, once again.

After the show we went to wait around the back of the arena, eventhough we didn't plan to do so at first. That's why I didn't have any pen or anything to get signed this time, except for the ticket stub and tour shirt. It took a couple hours before Phil came out. This time we got to meet him too and he was really nice. It was easy to approach and talk to him. A funny bit of conversation was when Phil asked "was it loud enough?" to which I answered "No, it wasn't, it was alot louder yesterday :D". There was also a blind woman with her man waiting there, and Phil was REALLY NICE to her. Gave her a few kisses and asked if she liked the show. Phil was such a nice guy. Finally got Phil's autograph too, got my ticket stub signed.

A great thing that we saw during the waiting was when a roadie first brought Lemmy's white boots from the the bus to the arena, and then a little after he brought 2 pair of Lemmy's black boots to the bus. Well, then after probably close to 3 hours of waiting a roadie said to us "a few minutes and Lemmy will be here" or something like that. A few minutes went by and a roadie came and told us to come down there to the door and they would then let 2 of us at time in to meet Lemmy. There was 2 pairs (4 guys) before me. I got to borrow someone's camera. I walked in to the room. It was a pretty long room, and in the back was a sofa and a table. There was a mirror and a, hmmm how you say, an air condition "thingie" in the room. Lemmy was sitting in the sofa, on the table there was a few beer bottles, a Jack & Coke, and a pack of cigarettes. Moa Holmsten was standing on the side of the room. The guy I was with first got a signature with Lemmy, and I can't remember for sure if he only took a photo of Lemmy or a photo with him and Lemmy. I then thanked Lemmy for a great show again and thanked him for the Helsinki show too. I asked him to sign my tour shirt and said that "I didn't have anything special with me today, 'cos I got the LP's signed yesterday", Lemmy responded "yeah" and smiled. He was really nice again, but we didn't really get to talk much. A roadie offered to take a photo of me and Lemmy. I probably said something more, but I can't remember. I was out of my mind .

I came out and right then Mikkey came out too. I got him to sign my tour shirt too, we took a few photos and talked with him for sometime. He was really nice again, and it was absolutely amazing to talk with him. We of course thanked for the great show again "... like yesterday in Helsinki too", and then we talked about Inferno album. Mikkey said that it's a great album, and I was telling him that it's really amazing album that it's "...right over the top!", Mikkey agreed :D. One guy started to talk with him a bit about him playing guitar on Whorehouse Blues, which made Mikkey to talk about how he and Phil wrote all the music. He then told us that they're starting the work on the next album on 24th january, and said that they're trying to make it even better for Inferno. I shook his hand, we once again thanked him for everything. When he was walking away one guy said to him that "keep playing the guitar" and Mikkey responded "Yeah, I might even do a solo next time" :D.

We then started to walk to our hotel, but we first talked with the guy whose camere we had used to take the photos, it was an analog camera and we agreed that we'll call him tomorrow and we go a camera store tomorrow to get the photos. I thank him with all my heart for all the help.

Well, I think that was about it. Greatest shows I've ever seen in my life, and the greatest 2 days EVER! I wanna thank the guys for being so nice and for the greatest shows ever, I also wanna thank everyone who I met and the "camera guy" for the help. Also, thanks for the pictures from the Helsinki show that someone posted.

Over and out.
