Onhan ne soundit aika törkeän tukossa EoR:llä. Mielenkiintoista kuulla uudelleenmiksattu versio, koska vahvoja biisejähän tuo levy on täynnä. Soundit vaan tekee levystä vastenmielisen tasapaksun kuunnella.
Ero on merkittävä varsinkin verrattaessa kahteen edelliseen Nevermore-lättyyn joita mahtavat soundit kannattaa myös sävellyksellisesti heikompien hetkien yli. Om Namah Shivaya! |

Ei minun mielestä.
Mielenkiintoista kuulla uudelleenmiksattu versio, koska vahvoja biisejähän tuo levy on täynnä. Soundit vaan tekee levystä vastenmielisen tasapaksun kuunnella.
EoR on erittäin hyvä levy. Nimikkobiisi on eräs parhaimmista biiseistä minkä tiedän. Jos ei ole mitään järkevää sanottavaa niin silloin on sama olla hiljaa. |

Seattle's own Nevermore are currently in Backstage Studios, Derbyshire / UK, recording their brand new and highly anticipated studio album entitled This Godless Endeavor with legendary producer Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Arch Enemy, Testament, Opeth, etc.), who already successfully worked with the band on their Dead Heart In A Dead World release. Nevermore are also recording a cover version of Ozzy Osbourne's Revelation (Mother Earth). In other news, due to overwhelming public demand, the group's critically acclaimed 2003 album, Enemies of Reality, has been re-mixed and re-mastered as well by Andy Sneap and will be re-launched with a European street date of March 21st, repackaged with slightly altered cover artwork (attached to these news and to be viewed here in high resolution) and additional bonus enhancements: the two video clips for the album (the title track Enemies Of Reality and I, Voyager) as well as a live video of the title track performed at Germany's Wacken Open Air festival 2004. New album "This Godless Endeavor" scheduled for European release on July 25th 2005!
"The ultimate heavy metal band" (BW&BK Magazine, Canada),Seattle's NEVERMORE, are set to deliver "This Godless Endeavor" July 25th 2005. Creating metal's most progressively innovative, insidiously addictive, and blazingly entangled music, mesmerizing vocalist Warrel Dane, backed by guitar virtuoso Jeff Loomis and the jackhammer rhythms of bassist Jim Sheppard and drummer Van Williams are now joined by guitarist Steve Smyth (ex-Testament/Dragonlord) who marks his NEVERMORE recording debut. Smyth toured extensively with the band throughout 2003 and 2004, including a U.S. tour with Dimmu Borgir and Children of Bodom, a full European tour with labelmates Arch Enemy and a performance at Germany's prestigious Wacken Open Air Festival.
Traveling to England's Backstage Studios (Arch Enemy, Kreator), the band reunites with production wizard Andy Sneap (Opeth, Machine Head) who "provided an atmosphere conducive to creativity", says Dane. "This album contains the trademark NEVERMORE songcraft you have either come to love or hate", he continues, "and some of the most ripping guitar work we've recorded." Stark artwork by Hugh Syme (Rush, Megadeth) incorporates the "theme we've developed over the last few albums of everyone wearing a mask", he explains. With the title, "This Godless Endeavor", being a discussion on, as Dane sees it, "the on-going struggle between science and religion." End of July the band will be part of Megadeth's Gigantour in the US. Psyched about it, "an alternative to what has become a corporate endeavor", Dane is ready to let fans experience the immediacy and urgency that have played such a huge part in their songs "mind boggling sophistication" (Terrorizer Magazine, UK). Megadeth mainman and guitarist Dave Mustaine commented about including the band on Gigantour's mainstage, "Having produced Sanctuary's album "Refuge Denied", it's obvious that I would appreciate anything that Warrel and Jim were doing. The fact that Shawn and Glen Drover (Megadeth/Eidolon) are also their friends and huge NEVERMORE fans made it an easy choice."
NEVERMORE, who just made the Andy Sneap re-mixed and re-mastered version of their previous album "Enemies Of Reality" available, are confirmed to appear in Europe at the end of June at Bang Your Head festival in Germany and Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium).

This Godless Endeavor on tainnut olla (kaikkien CC albumien tapaan) vuotaneena nettiin jo jonkin aikaa ja julkaisuunkaan ei ole enää aikaa paljoa, sillä kuten yllä mainittiin, albumi ilmestynee 25.06. Itselläni on tässä juuri levynä saapunut promoversio kuunneltavana ja varmaankin sama on myös nettiin mennyt, eli mukana on noita pieniä puheenpätkiä kappaleiden päällä. Ikävää kuunneltavaa niiden osalta, mutta muuten albumi vaikuttaisikin olevan sitten ehtaa Nevermorea.
