SRV käytti Fender Twin amppia vuodelta 60 jotain joka on kulta-aikaa kaikelle kitarakamalle.
Putket vahvarissa olivat erikseen vaihdettu maestron mieluisiin ja myös kitara oli ns. "Frankenstein" jossa kaula ja body olivat eri malleista. Ja mikit olivat Fender Texas Special jotain. Ja tämä siis vasta Nro. 1 kepissä. Ties mitä muissa oli.
Kyllä ne kovat jätkätkin kuulostaa kovalta HELVETIN HYVIEN soittokamojen ansiosta.
(no, SRV kuulosti kovalta akustisella kitarallakin...)
Mutta SRV oli poikkeus joka vahvistaa säännön. :) Ja ei sinnepäinkään :)
Eipä ollut Nro1ssä Texas Speciaaleja. Ne on Fenderin myöhäisemmässä vaihheessa tekemät mukaelmat. Tosta kitarasta löytyy kyllä runsaasti tieto vaikka googlella.

"Cold Shot" played through Vibratone (10" speaker with rotating Styro cone in front)

"Life Without You" used Tube Screamer plus two open wahs opposed (for solo on record)
For "Say What!", sat on stool and used both feet to rock wahs in opposite directions (on record). On stage, would sometimes duct-tape wahs together for one-foot operation
