Hubert Sumlin sydäri:
Bad news..Hubert Sumlin had a heart attack yesterday. He's anemic and that put
stress on his heart.
He's in a semi-coma in ICU on a breathing machine.
Say some prayers. He's a great guy.
No hospital information.
Gatemouth Brown keuhkosyöpä:
Phone rang out of the blue, and it was Gatemouth.
He's on his way to M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic in Houston tomorrow.
Lung cancer and emphysema.
Bad situation.
They need to get his lung capacity up before they can operate, and
even if they do they're not sure he can survive the surgery.
If they can't operate he says he doesn't want chemo and radiation so
they give him less than a year.
But, if they can get his lung capacity up and he does survive surgery,
they say his chances are good for a full recovery.
Billy Flynn kaatunut pyörällä:
Billy Flynn was injured in a biking accident that left him with broken collar bones and 7 broken Ribs.
The danger with the broken ribs is that his breathing is severely curtailed and he is on Pneumonia watch. It is hoped that his Ribs will have a partial healing so as to initiate breathing exercises to stave off any Pneumonia. |

Hubert Sumlin Watch / Update
Hubert's Manager, Toni Mammary, reports that Hubert is off of life support and is sitting up, talking, eating and smiling. The extent of damage is not known but the Doctors are referring to his turn-around as a MIRACLE.
Hubert is still in the ICU unit and cannot receive flowers or cards at this point. For now, if you would like to e-mail your thoughts or best wishes send those to hubert@bluemountainartists.com
