where the angry waves meet the land
and the cold wind, keeps on howling

I've often thought about going home,
to see the people I've left behind
to see, if they're still smiling?

that the places I have left behind
were meant to be, just memories
And even though it hurts to say,
that things are better off this way
my memories, are all I see

I've ran too far through these paved old paths,
I cried so much that I forgot to laugh
, and lately, I've just been hiding

I've fallen in love with everyone
, but I was the one who broke my heart,
and stopped myself from being happy
