| The pedal combines Aural Exciter® (to enhance harmonics, clarity, presence) with Optical Big Bottom® (for low-end extension without blasting the output) into one unit. • Controls include: • Lo Tune & Lo Blend — choose the frequency band and how much of the Big Bottom effect to mix in • Hi Tune & Hi Blend — similarly for treble enhancement via the Aural Exciter path • Harmonics control — adjusts character of harmonic generation in Exciter mode • Bypass: when pedal is off, the signal passes through unaffected (true bypass) • Balanced D.I. output: The pedal offers an XLR D.I. out (150 Ω) that can be set wet (with effect) or dry, and has a ground lift switch. • Internal battery life: ~ 100–150 hours on fresh alkaline 9 V battery. • When using external power, the internal battery is disconnected to avoid drain • Power jack: uses standard 6 mm × 2 mm connector; accepts a broad voltage range (AC or DC) • Phantom power (from a mixer via D.I.) can also power the pedal — the pedal can draw from +48 V phantom.
