Made famous for having being used by Steve Albini on In Utero by Nirvana (and many other of his recordings) - these Russian tube mics are full of character and sound excellent on many sources (have been used here on drum ambient/overheads, vocals, acoustic guitars, percussion etc).

I bought a pair for my studio direct from a studio in St Petersburg in 2016, they have original power supplies and cables with the soviet military-grade connectors. When I bought the mics I had my trusted local tech check over the power supplies, and he replaced a few worn out capacitors (as true to the originals as possible) so they are set up for many more years of use! I've had them in regular studio use since then... and they work flawlessly, warm and rich sounding, with a nice tube-y mid-forward sound. The paint isn't flawless, as shown in the photos - but this has absolutely no effect at all on the functionality, they work and sound incredible.

I think I have spare tubes (somewhere :D) so will include if I can find them - and the original capacitors as (which were worn out and replaced) if a buyer is interested. The PSU's have XLR outputs.

Testing is no problem if you have the option to visit here in Lievestuore - otherwise happy to answer any questions/provide samples if required - the mics have been used regularly in the studio and never missed a beat since I bought them, so these are good to go and ready to continue making records for many years! :)
