I would like to bring to your attention the fabulous Bar Lia in Erottaja in Helsinki. This is a Georgian restaurant with really nice food, but the management also have a serious commitment to live music. Which I think is great and deserves our support.
They have a bar adjacent to the main restaurant with a small stage. They have a PA, a keyboard and some microphones all ready for use. Suitable for a solo performer or a duo, Might be tricky to get a band in there.
They also have an OPEN MIC on Wednesday nights. I played a couple of original songs there for the first time this week. The open mic night could really do with more support. I think only four people played this week and it resulted in two people basically playing for as long as they wanted. If you are a solo performer or duo this would be an amazing opportunity.
