meinaan pojalle ostaa lahjaksi esim. kolmen levyn itse kootun "best of" -paketin ko. artistin soolotuotannosta - joskus 80-luvulla erään kaverin luona niitä kuunneltiin vaan eipä siltä muistikuvalta osaa valita
 
eli: pistäkääpä ehdotuksia mitkä levyt kannattaisi pakettiin haalia - levykohtaiset perustelut ovat tarpeen
 
- siis: parhaat/hankkimisen arvoisimmat Ozzy -levyt ovat:

Ehdottomasti ainakin No More Tears. Ozzmosis sisältää myös pari Ozzyn legendabiisiä. Kolmas vaikkapa Bark at the Moon.
 
Toisaalta taas Blizzard of Ozz sisältää Ne Ozzyn Biisit™, Diary of a Madman taas sisältää Ozzyn yhden parhaimmista kappaleista: Believer, mutta loput levyn kappaleista ei nyt niin mairittelevia ehkä ole.
 
Sanotaan jos haluaa ne tunnistettavimmat (suluissa levyltä löytyvät kovat)
 
1981 - Blizzard of Ozz (kaikki biisit :P I Don't Know, Crazy Train, Goodbye to Romance, Suicide Solution, Mr Crowley, Revelation (Mother Earth))

1995 - Ozzmosis (Perry Mason, I Just Want You, Thunder Underground)
 
Muut Ozzyn levyt ovat ehkä hieman ongelmallisia kun Ozzy käytti tapaa tehdä joka levylle muutama legendaarinen biisi ja loput keskinkertaisia biisejä, ehkä muutama osuma siellä täällä. Tästä syystä kannattaisi ostaa livelevy, jossa sitten kaikki kovimmat on samassa.
Live & Loud on erittäin kova livelevy ja voisit oikeastaan korvata Ozzmosiksen sillä. Ozzy on kyllä kovimmillaan juuri livenä ja tuohon aikaan oli vielä erittäin kovassa kunnossa sekä bändi että Ozzy (en suosittele Live at Budokania varauksetta).

Hyvä idea voisi olla hommata jokaisen Ozzy-kitaristin "aikakaudelta" yksi levy, esim:

Jake E. Lee - Bark at the Moon
Zakk - No more tears
 
Nuo ovat ns. hittilevyjä. Henkilökohtaisesti parhaaksi nousee melkeinpä No rest for the wicked / No more tears (ainakin Wylden levyistä).

Heh, enpä ole tullutkaan ajatelleeksi asiaa noin. Siitä huolimatta olisin tätä samaa kolmikkoa ehdottanut. Diary ja Ozzmosis ovat siinä porstuassa näiden perässä kylläkin. Hyviä biisejä niilläkin on, mutta mielestäni parhaat kokonaisuudet ovat juurikin nämä Blizzard, Bark ja Tears. No rest for the wickedillä ja Ultimate sinillä ne hienot hetket ja varsinkin hyvät biisit ovat huomattavan harvassa.

The Ultimate Sin on muuten melko vaikea löytää enää. Uutena et saa mistään. Sharo... Ozzy kun siivosi viimeksi kataloogiaan tässä 2002, niin The Ultimate Sin poistettiin listasta ja vanhemmat painokset on jo loppuunmyyty.

Kyllä se varmaan aika hyvin levisi aikoinaan, olihan siinä Ozzyn yksi tunnetuimmista biiseistä (Shot In the Dark).

Millä kaikilla vanhoilla levyillä on uudet bassot ja rummut?

Suosittelen ehdotommasti ostamaan Tribute levyn, siin on parhaat Randyn vedot. Ja Bark at the moonin jake e leeltä, ja wylde:ltä ite diggailen No REst for the Wickedistä, vaik onkin aika suorasukanen levy verrattuna muihin ozzyhin. Mutta kaikki levyt on kyllä hyviä, alot avaikka tosta Tributesta ;)

No olisko ne kaks ekaa, Blizzard of Ozz ja Diary of a Madman mitään? Ozzyn parhaat IMO. Siihen sitten lisäksi... hmm... No No More Tears on ainakin pirun hyvä.

Ozzmosis on aivan jumalattoman hyvä levy.

Minä suosittelisin: Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a madman ja No more tears.
Nämä ovat minusta parhaat ja tasalaatuisimmat Ozzy levyt. Näissä ei ole huonoja biisejä. Muilla levyillä on hieman täytemateriaalia tai sitten ovat muuten vaan näitä kolmea tasapaksumpaa jyystöä. Ei niistä levyistä kyllä mikään huono ole.
No rest for the wickediä ja Randy Rhoads tributea kannattaa myös harkita.

itse omistan kaikki levyt. parhaita ovat...en osaa sanoa mutta ite diggasin ensimmäisenä no more tearsista eniten. sitä siis suosittelen.

Tuli tappelua biisien krediiteistä. Shar... Ozzy päätti sitten katkaista riidan poistamalla levyn. Maton alle...

Joe Siegler, the webmaster of BLACK SABBATH's website (www.black-sabbath.com) has posted the following news item titled OZZY OSBOURNE's Missing Albums:
 
"Every once in awhile I get asked what the deal is with Ozzy Osbourne's 1986 album The Ultimate Sin is. When Ozzy remastered his albums for the first time in 1995, this album was part of the remastering sessions. However, when the second round came in April of 2002,"The Ultimate Sin was deleted from Ozzy's product line. If you look at the 2003 Greatest Hits collection The Essential Ozzy Osbourne, there are no songs from TUS. I've asked a few times the question of Ozzy's office why it was deleted (as were a few others, like Speak/Talk of the Devil and Just Say Ozzy), and I got a polite "no comment".
 
Given that I can't get an official statement on the matter, we're all left to our own devices to guess. The most popular story is that Ozzy didn't much care for the album (he's said as much in a few interviews), and that's probably why it was deleted. I've heard other rumors that it's a similar kind of royalty issue with band members on the album similar to what caused the Daisley/Kerslake problems on the first two Ozzy albums. If that were true, it would account for the deleting of Just Say Ozzy as well, because of the track 'Shot In The Dark' appearing on both of them. Now keep in mind, these are just rumors I've heard and personal speculation on my part - I do NOT pretend that it's the truth. But to be honest, when no explanation is ever given for something, people are going to be left to make their own opinions. These rumors could be totally wrong, and if they are, I have no problem with that. But if they are wrong, I am left to wonder what the real reason is, then? An official explanation would help clear this issue up. If I've missed something (which is also always possible), someone please let me know what it is.
 
Anyway, since early 2002, The Ultimate Sin album has been generally unavailable, due to the fact that it's not made anymore, and unless you find a store with a copy that's been sitting around for a couple of years, you're not going to find it (legally) unless you pick it up at a second hand CD store. Not too long ago I was putzing around the Apple iTunes store, and decided to see what music was up there by Sabbath related bands.
 
Much to my surprise I found that Ozzy's The Ultimate Sin, Just Say Ozzy (1990) and Speak Of The Devil (1982) were listed there. I inquired to see if the albums were now being produced again, and got told no. I was also told that they were unaware that the albums were on iTunes and that they were going to "look into it". Well, as of now, they're still there. If you were wanting to obtain these albums, I suggest that you head over to iTunes and buy them."

Itse ottaisin varmasti Blizzard of Ozzin, Bark at the moonin ja no rest for the wickedin tai diary of a madmanin.

Olen muuten tullut siihen tulokseen, että Diary of a Madman on paras (jopa Blizzardia paree). Ni.

Itse ehkä ottaisin Blizzardin, Ultimaten ja No More Tearsin.
