Teki mieli jotain 15-20w Tweed-henkistä laitetta mutta halusin reverbin ja toimivan master-volumen joten valkkasin pohjaksi Gibsonin GA-30RV:n

- PPI-mastervolume päätteen 220k vastusten tilalle
- Toinen kanava bright-kanavaksi kytkentäkonkkaa pienentämällä ja/tai katodikonkkaa pienentämällä
- Reverb kytkimellä valittavaksi joko 1- tai 2- kanavaan
- Kaiuttimeksi 1x15" 8ohm alkuperäisen 1x8"+1x12" tilalle
- Päätemuuntaja 8kohm/8ohm alkuperäisen 8k/4ohm tilalle
- 6EU7 tilalle 12AX7

I have one of these amps and wanted to post some information about
schematic v. amp conflicts. Rob was kind enough to help me sort some
of this out.
1. V3A&B grid connections; in my amp, the actual connections at pins
5 and 8 were the reverse of what's shown on the schematic. While
confusing, it isn't an error. Substitute pin 8 for 5 and vice versa
and move on.
2. Location of reverb control; on the schematic, it's shown at the
grid of V2B; in the amp, it's after the reverb can and feeds pin 8 of
V3A (as drawn, pin 5 of V3B)
3. Signal to V2B: taken from pin #8/grid of V2A at junction of the
two 470K resistors and not from the channel 2 volume control as drawn.
4. The negative feedback loop terminates on the cathode of V3A, not
V2A as drawn.
Finally, I added a 4uf/250V non-polarized cap in the supply to the 8"
speaker. It blocks everything from about 4K hz down so the speaker
never sees the bass and keeping it from distorting so early. John

Toi 2. on aika selkeä, ekoissa Gibsoneissa oli reverbin säätö tosiaan vasta kaikutankin jälkeen mutta kaikissa uudemmissa se on ennen tuossa V2B-hilalla. Olisikos muihin kellään heittää kommenttia?
