I'm Looking for (a cheap) mount / holder, that is suitable for positioning the mic straight down to the strike-point on the drum head (to the center of the drum-head, that is ..) .
About two inches distance between the mic and the head .
I guess it has to be a "goose-neck" type of thing .
I've been eyeing on some cheap Chinese items on e-bay ..
but haven't come across for a suitable one .
I've noticed Neil Peart has something alike this in the "Tom Sawyer" official video by Rush . On the floor tom that is ..
