Kesäkuun 29. päivä pitäisi pöllähtää yhtyeeltä uusi levy ulos, informoi HellCat Recordsien nettisivut: "Speaking of U.S. Roughnecks, Big Jay Bastard, (U.S. Roughnecks bass player), has just finished recording (Tim Armstrong producing) the new Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards record! "-LARS FREDERIKSEN & THE BASTARDS have a new record in the works. Produced by Tim Armstrong and mixed by Brett Gurewitz, the second album for the band, tentatively titled 'Viking', looks like it'll be released in late June. More info as we get it." Jaahas, jaahas. Mutta kuinkas se Mr. Brett on miksaamaan eksynyt? Onko ollu jo aikasemmin mukana vai vasta nyt?
Eipä ole Larssin kanssa miksaillut ennen. Ensimmäisen levyn miksasi Tim Armstrong kera Dave Carlockin. Rancidin Let's Go, s/t (2000) ja Indestructible levyjähän Gurewitz on ollut tuottamassa ja viimeksi mainitulle muutaman piisin miksannutkin, että sitä kautta ihan luonnolliselta asialta vaikuttaa.
Edit: Ja näyttäisi miksanneen myös tuolle s/t (2000) levyllekin piisejä tuo mr. Brett. Toisena miksaajana siinä näyttäisi olevan Thomas "TJ" Johnson. Correction I need no direction/ Let me go just one last time/ I spend my whole life searching for direction/ Let me go just one last time
