Postburn is a power trio from Kuopio, Northern Savonia, Finland. The band was founded in 2024 and was initially made up of drummer Antti and guitarist Teemu, who have known each other since their youth. Soon it was noticed that a vocalist and a bass player were needed as a few songs were already in some frames. Fortunately, we discovered that Niilo, a friend from our youth, had returned to his roots in Savo. Niilo was the last piece missing from this band. Fortunately for us, he agreed.
We grew up to the tune of Metallica, In Flames and Pantera. We are completely self-sufficient in terms of producing music, so we can make songs that we think sound good. If you like metal with a thrash/rock/punk vibe, then this is a band you should check out and give a listen to.
