Hi! Do you guys know anything about sound blankets or acoustic blankets (akustinen huoppa) offered in Finland? I need a set of blankets for mobile recording.

Could you elaborate a bit further? What would be the exact purpose for the cloth?

To reduce the ugly sounding reverberant noise or the reflection of sound waves within hard reflective environments.

I have used molton (stage curtain) for dampening early reflections in mobile recording situations. I have found it to work quite well. Doesn't really help in a hopelessly bad sounding environment, but in a decent sounding untreated room it can be of help.

Yes, molton might do the trick.

Thanks! I know this site but for some reason the shipping to Estonia will cost 4-5 times more than the material itself. Just couldn't consider of spending that much money for only the shipping.

Back in the 90's we used very many"lainapeite" in a big storage hall, which was supposed to be a tv studio...not a sweetest candy but better than nothing!

Ordinary carpets have much more mass than molton. OTOH, they're much more difficult to handle.
