Eli mitä eroja Xoticin Ac ja RC boostereilla muuta kuin väri? Sit on kans tuo BB preamp joka on samanlainen mutta nimeltänsä eri :P Mä oon niinku ihan kahvilla näiden kanssa :D

"Ainut oikea vaihtoehto on Xotic RC (real clean) tai AC (almost clean). Säädöt molemmissa: Volume, Gain, Treble ja Bass. Kumpikaan ei syö vahvarin, saati kitaran saundia. RC:ssä särö lähtee aivan nollasta ja selvän särön huomaa vasta klo.12 jälkeen. AC lähtee aikaisemmin särölle. Molemmilla voi myös boostata hyvin pitämällä gainin nollassa. Xoticit ovat käsin tehtyjä jenkkilässä ja niissä on true bypass. Pesevät TS808:n mennen tullen :D"
 
Ja BB särö lähtee jo klo 8.15, jonka jälkeen kitara laulaa. Jolaladiduu.

Lähti eilen AC kiertoon!! Tulee kivaa kuitenkin tilalle.
 
Boostereiden teknisistä eroista (tai niiden puutteista) www.freestompboxes.org kertoo :
 
"The AC and RC and BB are basicly plain TS-808 copies with an added active baxandall tonestack.
 
The AC and RC are absolute idenditical, ex. the no. off the cliping diodes in the FB-loop (to me it's a joke to sell 2 pedals, a simply switch for the diodes arrangement and 1 pedal would have been the better solution for the user).
 
The BB's front end is more similar to the reverend divetrain, ex. the tonestack, on the train it's passiv.
 
Common to all Xotic drives pedals is "bad filtered" Bias-divider (BTW: the OCD use the same divider and values) and a soft sounding I-buffer, so the sound is slightly more compressed on the AC and BB w less highs and a somewhat flabby bass when played on low volume. Played on it's own the sound is not so good, but they come alive as a low gain drives in front of a BF amp when played on stage levels. The RC has nearly zero compression due to the amount of diodes in the FB-level. I think a TS 808 on 8V w tone pot near zero and an simple EQ for treble and bass after the TS comes very close in tone to the AC and BB.

Tuolta löytyy aika hyvät demot kaikista Xoticin pedaaleista. Ainakin niiden erot tulevat mielestäni hyvin ilmi.
 
Muutenkin noi clipit on tehty munmielestä aika maukkaasti, kuulee tosi selvästi eri pedaalien erot ja mihin kukin pedaali pystyy. Helposti menee tunteja noita kuunnellessa.. :)

Aivan mahtava sivusto! Plussaa tuli!! Tuolla oon ny ollu muutaman päivän klikkailees ja on ollu monta pedaalia myös mistä oon halunnu saada lisäinfoa / testata ite mut noi näytetää kyl tosi ytimekkäästi kyl!
