Olisiko joku kiinostunut rock projektin kokoonpanosta jotta esintyä Live Talent 2004 kisassa? Enitein kiinostaisivat bassonsoittajat ja backgroundlaulajat koska ne ovat kaiken vaikemmat löyttää. Itse haluasin panna kokoon jonkun 21 century Hanoi Rocksin - että siis good oldfashioned rock'n'roll with a bit modern sound.

Yleensä en ilkeile, mutta suomenkielenhallinta on jo ihan oikealla mallilla.

Eikös background vocalskin ole ihan yleisesti käytetty termi? Ainakin olen törmännyt monesti moiseen, oikeellisuudesta ei tietoa.

"Backing vocals" olisi taustalaulua päävokaaleja tukevassa mielessä, "background vocals" tarkoittaisi lähinnä taustamelua ja -mölinää. Ehkä sitä on käytetty siinä mielessä ;)

Additionally, you should learn how to read between the lines, the seemingly straight-forward spelling advices were not meant to be taken seriously, the conversation just turned "off-topic".
 
And the reason to this was the fact that you're not supposed to post "seeking for musicians" -ads on the board (since there's a specific place for that in this site) and this thread was "over" already at the beginning, so to speak.

Right! Besides, drawing a laugh out of the spelling was not nagging, but rather pointing out the humorous fact, that there was a visible resemblance between your Finnish and the same of mr. McCoy, which may indicate similarities in star quality also. So the joke was not on You, but on the supposed chance of similitude.
