| Hey! I recently relocated to Helsinki and I’m looking for bandmates to build something fun, musical, and a bit special with. Not chasing fame or money (though gigs would be great down the line), just aiming to progress, play well enough to feel proud — either showing up on stage, or just between us. I’m an experienced guitarist, played in several bands before in France and England (indie / rockabilly / alt-country vibes), and I’d love to find like-minded musicians — especially a singer to get things rolling. Musical direction? Somewhere between indie, folk, country, shoegaze and lo-fi. Think: Big Thief, Elliott Smith, Alex G, Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, Her’s, Neil Young, Mojave 3, The Smiths, Westerman, Felt, Arthur Russell, Sea Power, Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver, Lou Reed, boy pablo, Men I Trust, mk.gee, Dean Blunt, Women, Radiohead, Elvis… (Yes, it’s a list. Yes, I’m a nerd.) Happy to do covers or originals — I’ve got gear to record, good ears for chords, structure and melodies, but lyrics/toplines are not my thing. I’m based in central Helsinki, fully equipped, and ready to jam or start shaping something real.
