| Like the title says, we're looking for a lead guitarist or bassist who is pretty good/pretty okay at their instrument and is looking to write some groove/thrash/heavy metal with maybe some punk influence. Preferably speak English and also since we will be getting political, MAGAts and normal right-wingers need not apply as I think there will be too much conflict there. Bands we like and want to sound like are (roughly in order of importance): Metallica, Megadeth, White Zombie, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Dead Kennedys, Iron Maiden, Misfits, Alice In Chains, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (their metal albums), Slayer (to some extent), Motörhead, Ministry, and Rob Zombie. This list is not everything but it's pretty close, so if you like a bunch of these then sick! You don't have to have any experience playing with a band before. We have some half-written songs and cool riffs and demos of songs and song ideas but there's been no way to finish them yet without a bassist and lead guitarist. We might be able to share some of our stuff if you're interested. If you have some of your own riffs and stuff that would be cool too. Currently, the drummer only has an electric drumset, but we are looking to fix that this summer. Only thing is, we might not be able to have it in our house so (this is by no means mandatory but just a bonus) if you have space and are okay with that at some point that would be cool but no pressure. Currently, me the guitarist is probably going to do vocals but I'm still practicing on that front. If this sounds appealing to you, please send a message! | |
