| Join the Church Choir “Intermezzo” in Helsinki! The Orthodox choir at the Church of Prophet Elijah in Helsinki is opening its doors to new singers! We are looking for people who love to sing, want to grow musically, and contribute to preserving Ukrainian culture through the classical choral tradition. What We Offer: • Participation in regular rehearsals every Saturday. • Singing at church services (evening prayers and liturgies) whenever possible. We understand that everyone has work and personal commitments, so attendance at every service is not mandatory, but your participation from time to time is important. • A professional approach and a classical Ukrainian repertoire. Our focus is on harmony, beauty, and high-quality choral sound. • Concert tours to other cities after mastering the repertoire. Who We Are Looking For: • People who can sing or have the desire to learn. • Knowledge of sheet music is an advantage, but if you are a beginner, we will help you develop basic skills through regular rehearsals and individual practice. • Those who want to be part of the classical Ukrainian cultural movement and contribute to the choral tradition. Our choir is not just about singing—it is a special space for spiritual growth, friendship, and the preservation of Ukrainian heritage in its finest form.
