Kuvaus:	Timo Turpeinen, better known as Tex, started playing guitar when he was eleven years old and began his musical journey way back in 1976. His first guitar was a Landola (Finnish brand) western style steel-string guitar. A year later he bought his first electric guitar he played through a tube radio but soon after he got his first real guitar amplifier. His main influences are: Richie Blackmore, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Morse, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Danny Gatton, David Gilmour, all guitar heroes and all good music from jazz to classical. His style is melodic rock guitar spiced up with some legato runs, tapping and sometimes sweep picking. Tex played in several Finnish professional music groups. To mention one, the melodic hard rock group Breakn Strain, whose lead singer is now a member of the famous Finnish metal band Tarot. Rainio Bros Trio brought him his daily bread for 10 years (approx. 1500 gigs). With them he performed as guitarist/backing singer. Tex has also produced compositions for other artists, composed and produced music to commercials and done some film scoring too. Nowadays he focuses on instrumental rock guitar music.
