She was born in China and studied Bachelor of Music (Guitar Performance) in University of Melbourne, Australia and Master of Music (Guitar and Composition) in University of Music Detmold, Germany. J. Hermit has moved to Finland in 2020 and continues her on-going music journey worldwide. J. Hermit's music is deeply influenced by the philosophical ideas such as Minimalism, Taoism, Yin-Yang and the inspirations of Nature. Her music style includes classical music, traditional Asian music, folk music, contemporary music, as well as improvisatory music and a light taste of electronic music. She has been giving concerts in Germany, Finland, France, Hungary, England, Australia and China. |
