| Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello has revealed to Kerrang! that the band have nearly completed their "awesome" second album. "We're in the midst of finishing it now" says Morello. "It sounds awesome, so it's all really exciting. Chris (Cornell) is finishing up his vocals right now. We've got a lot of songs" he adds. "We've got 22. So the record could be different records depending on which ones we choose for the final track-list. It definitely has some of the most rocking material that we've ever been involved in and it really feels like the most cohesive musical endeavour that I've ever been involved in." The bands as yet untitled follow up to 2002's self titled debut, which is due for release next year, is being produced by Rick Rubin.
