Kaipa tämä tän alle sopii kun muutenkin ollut puhetta muistakin miehen tuotoksista.   Uusin leffa Yoga Hosers, on nyt tullut ilmoille Sundancessa. Pääosissa Smithin tytär Harley Quinn, bestiksensä Lily-Rose Melody Depp sekä jälkimmäisen isä Johnny Depp. Taitaa siellä olla molempien ukkojen vaimotkin vielä messissä. Pieni perheleffa siis.   Leffa on eräänlainen jatko Tuskille ja meno on ilmeisesti vielä absurdimpaa polvenkorkuisine natsimakkara(!)hirviöineen. Arviot ovat olleet tähän asti joko erittäin negatiivisia tai hämmentyneitä. Sinänsä siis ihan mielenkiintoisen kuuloinen tapaus, joskin haiskahtaa nyt ehkä vähän liikaa omalta kivalta.     Pari pätkää ensimmäisistä kritiikeistä:   Some fathers build their kids treehouses. Some daddies buy a pony for their little princess. Kevin Smith writes and directs a movie for his daughter to star in. And writes a part for her lifelong best friend. And, since that friend is Johnny Depp's daughter, he casts Depp as well hell, let's get both the moms onscreen too, and give the kids some musical numbers to show off their inner rock star. In between the for-the-family fun, Smith's Yoga Hosers is something vaguely resembling a movie, one in which two girls who just want to go to a party with twelfth-graders wind up battling an army of knee-high Nazis made of sausage.   ---   Yoga Hosers feels like a cross between an absurd live-action cartoon created by a stoner and a 90s-style teenage comedy. Its so strange, and unlike anything Kevin Smith has directed before. Im honestly not sure if Yoga Hosers was terrible or if I am just not the target demographic for this story.   ---   To shackle two lovely and promising teenage actresses to material this dreadful could be reasonably construed as an awfully expensive form of child abuse.
